Pic of the Week

Yesterday, my Dad and I took a break from working on the 361 and decided to take a trip North to visit Richie Zigmont and his Dad Joe... Richie had some parts we wanted to look at so we decided yesterday would work. While we were there visiting, Craig M. and Brian B. also stopped by to visit. Then the Zigmonts unveiled their latest project... a 1976 N761LL-89827... This truck has a 350 Cummins with a 13 speed RR, and has been fitted with air ride and hub pilots all around.

Here is another pic from the Tom Ninnie collection. Tom also owned this Brockway up until 2008. It's a '74 361 with construction fenders that was originally purchased from Brockway of Newburgh.

Tom Ninnie of Central Construction sent me several pics of some Brockways he owned up until 2008. Here is a pic of his 1974 360TL tractor that he purchased used on 1982... Tom is from Beacon, NY.

Dave Lewis is a good friend of mine and my Dad's and over the past few years he had given me some great pics, each of which was used for Pic of the Week at one time or another. This past week he forwarded me a pic that was given to a friend of one of his sons.

The picture is of one of Richards Trucking Brockways . Richards went on to become Transway years later and were actually located not too far from my house, across from Naro's Trucking in Gouldsboro. If you remember the pics I posted a while back of the 361 cab and 457 cab in the junkyard, they were both owned by Transway.
