Pic of the Week 7-17-11
Last week we our our local truck club meeting at Dave Lewis' business in Scranton. He had emailed me earlier in the week and said to show up early with a camera! Now Dave and his boys are die hard International guys, so we were surprised to see this 761 sitting in their lot!!!
The truck is actually owned by a good friend of theirs and it's N761TL-91617. From what I understand, it's a former PP&L (Pennsylvania Power and Light) truck. It has a 290 with a 13 speed. It's believed that at one time the transmission was changed since it had an odd configuration. This truck has spent the last 10-15 years of its life sitting in a barn/garage so it has been well preserved. After a little TLC they brought it to the local ATHS show yesterday!
