Pic of the Week 3-6-11
This past Saturday my Dad and I went back to the 361 headed for scrap and removed the parts I missed for the Jake, including the bridges and buffer switch. On the way back we decided to take a quick detour to look at a 260XW my Dad had known about for some time.
So here are two pics of a 1951, 260XW-55-45213. The truck was originally owned by Hank Gardner and I understand it's for sale. Based on the second pic, it looks like it was just parked here a few weeks ago...
The cab and doors are all steel, so I believe that the cab may have been switched at one time... *** unless *** Brockway switched over to all steel cabs a few years earlier than 1955 with their deluxe cabs...
